A2BSafely - Road Safety Scotland

Road Safety Scotland is part of the Scottish Government and, as such, delivers a comprehensive road safety education and publicity programme which highlights the key road safety issues of our time. Many people are not aware that road accidents are the single major cause of death and injury to young people in Scotland.

One of the education resources, www.a2bsafely.com, has been designed to provide young people with additional support needs a safe place to explore the road environment. This vulnerable group very often misses out on road safety training in primary school, and a2bsafely equips them as pedestrians, to travel independently, with the help of teachers and parents.
