Role of CAPIC

1. To support injury prevention initiatives across Wales by supporting a network of injury prevention practitioners from a large number of organisations through the provision of:

a. Analyses of the scale of the injury problems in Wales.
b. Collation of reviews of what works best in preventing injuries (systematic reviews).
c. Collation of government and other strategies which support injury prevention.
d. Access to practical injury preventing tools and guides.
e. Access to newsletters and other sources of information on injury prevention initiatives.

2. To represent the Wales Centre for Health in developing the Injury Observatory for Britain and Ireland
